2020 was a very disappointing year for jazz lovers who enjoy attending live shows. Most of the scheduled festivals and concerts were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Die-hard fans were left to follow their favourite musicians through online shows. By all means, this model is not as great as in-person attendance Things are looking up in 2021, and here are some events lined up for the year across the UK.
Brainchild
The primary purpose of this group is to help the community. They have a festival planned for 9th to 11th July this year. Everyone should attend and participate in several workshops that will be taking place and even jam with members from several invited bands.
Bluedot
They have a festival planned for 22nd to 25th July 2021. Everyone who wants mind and body nourishment should purpose to attend the Bluedot’s festival. They will be combining inspirational talks on space exploration, comedy, and very suitable cerebral music performances.
Houghton
For the past three years, Houghton has had several festivals cancelled at the last minute due to various unavoidable circumstances. However, this year they are committed to seeing the plans through. Houghton has planned out a 24-hour straight music festival that will be taking place between the 12th and 15th of July in 2021.
Wireless
Wireless has been known to plan and host vibrant festivals. They often bring worldwide known celebrities like Drake, Jay Z, and Travis Scott. This year, they have organized the biggest concert between the 2nd and 4th of July, which every superfan should purpose to be a part of.
Primavera Sound
They will be celebrating a belated 20th anniversary this year between the 2nd and 6th of June as they could not celebrate last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Everyone is invited to enjoy the performances of great musicians like Young Thug, Iggy Pop and Tame Impala among others.
